So I've been looking at the random crap I have and the Giant (the plastic one) that I'll never use and I've decided I'm going to try and make a decent looking converted Abom. So first off I've already taken the torso of the giant and green stuffed 2 rat ogre arms and a head on him. I glued the giant arms and one hand on him and the chaos head. The chariot base I'm using for the Abom is an orc boar chariot. I added balsa wood to it so the base is bigger for the body of the huge Abom to sit. The 2 decapitated and legless horses i thought i would use to extend his body a bit since the rest of the chariot looked baren and naked. I need ideas on how to fill the big gaps and cracks because I didn't want to use my green-stuff on the big gaps because I think that would just be a waste. I was thinking caulk or liquid nails but I'm not sure, I'm open for ideas. I'm not sure about a painting scheme and depending on how well it looks when it's finished I may not even want to paint it at all I may want someone else too. Anyway without further a due here are the pics of the beginning of the conversion. Ideas ect. are appreciated. s800.photobucket.com/albums/yy282/Yeller19/Abom%20Project/

There's a cheap plumber's putty that's similar to green stuff but much less expensive. It has a tendancy to dry faster and is less malleable than greenstuff, but a thin layer of green stuff over it and once it is painted you wont be able to tell the difference.
I used 1 full rat ogre, 2 additional rat ogre heads, 3 giant hands, 3 or 4 of the clanrat skulls, the putty and green stuff and made a moderately sized abom. It fits on the 50x75 giant base perfectly.

Caulk and liquid nails are very messy. I'd look for something else.

I think some tentacles, boils, etc. would help out here. What's the deal with his mouth? What is supposed to be coming out?

It was (in my mind) going to be like a worm but I think I messed up on it so I may redo it or just cut it off not sure because I don't know if anyone could tell what is is once I paint it like a grub you know.
After a talk on the phone with my man Earl I've decided to shorten the chariot a bit so I don't have to add so much filler on the empty back part. In other news I added another head and a mechanical arm thing (from a random 40k door prize I got a long time ago) to his hand less arm. It looks as if a warlock hammered in a mechanical extension with a huge blade claw at the end.
More pics will be coming this weekend. I was also thinking about just using straight up clay, making the back of the body the shape I want it and then baking it. My only concern with that is that it might be a bit heavy for the Balsa wood.

I ripped off the thing coming out of his mouth and I'll judge for myself to see if I want to add something to it or if I can think of something to do with it. I just bought oven bake clay and made his body which I think looks quite good. I added some warpstone spikes and a few patches of fur. He isn't mounted on the chariot yet but that's what I'm doing next. I don't know if you can see the black sharpie dots on his side (of the clay body piece), but that is where I am mounting a set of arms (on either side) to be his walking arms. So far I am very very pleased with the model and I will be mounting the arms on his sides, his body to the chariot, and adding spikes to his body soon .... I think the end product will be quite nice. Let me know what you think. s800.photobucket.com/albums/yy282/Yeller19/Abom%202/

As I stated in the above paragraph I'm green stuffing 2 rat ogre arms to his sides to act as weapons and since they are so close to the ground they are the arms pushing him along.

This is the next to last chapter in the creating of my Abomination. I have completed his body and all I need to do now is attach him to his chariot and of course paint him. I added some spikes to the giant body and a few more fur patches but other than that I'm done. I'm not sure what ill do for a base yet but I'll figure it out. Enjoy!!! s800.photobucket.com/albums/yy282/Yeller19/Abom%202/

Big improvement from the first pics to this one. I hated the dildo thing coming out of his mouth. I cut my base out of sheet plastic they sell at hobby town. Go 100x60, which is the recommended size. (And everyone thought I was cheating when I cut it that big. ) I was going to suggest more tentacles and blisters, but I've been reading Lovecraft's stuff lately. Love mine, works great about half the time.
