I have updated the old 2nd ed Blood in the Streets campaign for 8th ed. Matt and I are playing a 5 game campaign. It is set in an area in the Empire just north of Nuln called the Riding.
I'm playing an invading Beastmen army and Matt is playing an army of Ogres hired to protect the villages.
We played Scenario One last Saturday. A crazy old mage took over a watchtower and we both wanted it. The crazy old mage won.
This Saturday at 10:00, Bhuluuf will lead his herd into the village Mayby. Grob Hellthooth's mercenaries will try to stop him. Drop by and hang out or bring 500 points of troops and join in the mayhem.

The war herd of Bhuluuf charged out of the forest to bring rapine and ruin on the village of Mayby. Unfortunately for them, Grob Hellthooth and his ogres were waiting. The beastmen charged into the village while the villagers fled.
Zhadha the Bray-Shaman killed a mornfang but was then shot down by a group of maneater sharpshooters with their poison pistols. The rest of the mornfangs attacked the ghorgon and lost another rider but killed the giant beast.
The village knight fled the village and took his men with him while the high elf aristocrat living in the village was caught by a unit of ambushing gors and killed. The gors were attacked by ironguts and killed almost to a man (beastman that is). Only the champion survived. He rallied and charged a group of dock toughs and was killed by the locals armed only with clubs.
The ogres were able to hold off the rest of the herd and the elf was the only native casualty. The herd retreated to the forest to seek easier prey.
Join us next Saturday as the herd attacks the village of Averridge. We will start at 10:00 but join in whenever. Bring 500 points to defend the village or take part in the carnage.

The Imperial troops were able to hold off the beastmen until their ogre allies were able to arrive.
Despite the beastmen rolling up the ogre right flank and both of the ogre wizards being pulled into the warp the bulk of the humans were able to survive the battle and the beastmen were forced, once again to retreat into the wilderness.
Battle four will be next Saturday at 10:00 at Area 51. Bring 500 points and join us.

Are the minimum unit sizes smaller than normal or anything like that? Edit: ...limits on or extra rules for characters?

After trying to look up Blood In The Streets online I am wondering: have I got the wrong rulebooks out; was Blood In The Streets a Mordheim supplement?

Eric,
This is all for fun so bring any 500 points you like. Blood in the Streets was also a Mordheim supplement. The original Blood in the Streets was for Warhammer. Second edition I think.

The Ogres have chased the Beastmen back into the swamps and forests but not before the destruction of one last village.
The village militia, most of the monks and a few villagers made it to safety as the ogres screened their retreat from the village. The mornfangs paid for their escape time with their lives.
A friendly group of dwarf miners came to the villagers aid as well and slew the beastmen's one-eyed giant.
Nevertheless, many villagers ended up as a meal for the beasts, and if truth be told, as few may have ended up in the ogre's cook pots.
The ogres are pursuing the beastmen back into their forest lair to end this threat at least for awhile.
Stay tuned.

Well the campaign is over. Bhuluuf and his herd were pushed back into the swamps by Grob Hellthooth's mercenaries, but the ogres were unable to destroy the beastmen's settlement so the threat of future invasions remains.
The final score was 2 wins apiece and one draw. Dead even.
The final battle was won by the beastmen driving off or killing off the heroes on the other side. The runesmith leading the dwarf allies fled the table, chased by a ghorgon. The firebelly was squashed by a giant. The ogre standard bearer was kill in battle with Bhuluuf's bestigors.
Grob Helltooth, himself, was pulled into the warp. Never to return???
