Thanks to my opponents Mark Cox, Aaron Chapman and Eric Haberkamp for excellent and fun games and their excellent play. Mark brought what looked like on paper a weak Skaven army and did a brilliant job with it. Aaron played brilliantly against me but it was a fun and funny game. Eric played with class and vigor given he had a Brett army in an objective-based scenario that favoured infantry and monstrous infantry units.

I had a great time, it's hard to go to any of the DitD's that have been held thus far and _not_ have a good time.
I'm surprised how much I was able to push such an odd-ball army, but not having to worry about victory points and only worrying about capturing markers was a huge boon. That's what really gave the edge, I could sacrifice my leadership core and still be in a position to win if I used my pawn pieces right.
I had a great time, it was a nice change of pace from the obliterate-your-opponent-off-the-field type of game. Dice were all over the place on a lot of rolls. My lone cannon managed to dish out a grand total of 3 wounds over the course of 18 game turns, it was as funny as it was pathetic.
My wizard hat got off maybe 4 spells over the event, which as the lone level 2 in the army is way more than I expected him to get. As crazy as the army is, I really like the synergy, and not being constantly disappointed by a poor Seer performance is a nice change of pace.
