I'm thinking about getting involved with this. Does anyone need a partner?

I do. Though you'd have to get used to extensive proxies and maybe empty bases while the army begins (it will be empire. I assume you'll be playing the warriors)

My wiley (and lucky) Dark Elves were able to hold off Matt's choppy (and unlucky) Warriors for 8 turns.
That's one for the "good" guys. Go team!

That's one to nothing for the team Against the Storm. This is a tough scenario for the Storm players. To win you must table your opponent by the end of Turn Five.
Good luck my Chaos Brothers. The Children of Chaos will kill every High Elf they can later this week.

WHAT there are Dark Elves killing the enemies of the High Elves. I don't believe it. It's a trap.
Listen to me my allies they will turn on us. Don't rely on them. All they want to do is kill and torture. It is good that they are killing the Chaos hoards or at least holding them back for now. But don't let them get behind you. At the moment they are the lesser of two evils.

The Children of Chaos were not able to destroy the High Elves. Most of the archers died and a handful of Swordmasters as well.
Another win for the Forces Against the Storm.

So Chaos is losing the first round two to nothing. Hill, David and anyone else who wants to join on the Storm side has until Saturday, Sept. 25 to reclaim the honor of Chaos.

I am playing my game on Sept 24th...the last minute!
I think you hit the nail on the head. This is a tough scenario for Chaos, which is odd as you would think the opener would be the easiest (weighted fairly heavily in Chaos' favor), and then the games would get progressively more even. But if they get harder from here...geez! Steadfast and Ld-rerolls due to BSB definitely add a signficant wrinkle that wasn't there previously, plus if your opponent decides to make a build for the scenario (instead of a straight up fight)...I am not sure how we bad guys win. My Empire opponent has already teasingly threatened me with multiple pegasus-riding captains that all flee to various corners of the board. Since we Chaos types have very limited shooting, tracking down scattering troops is a daunting prospect. The Recycle rule SOUNDS good, until you realize they still have to march all the way back across the board to get to grips for a second round. The first recycled troops will get back in the fight just about the time you are moving into the TIE category.
I will give it my best shot, but I don't hold out too much hope for a Chaos resurgence.

Yeah, I don't expect to win, and I am facing three pegasus riders, but I'll do my best. It'll be fun nonetheless.

Andy was (as usual) a great sport in our game and really tried to give me a shot at winning. He took no eagles and only spread his troops out over half the board. I still couldn’t take him out.
He put a unit of Guard in the corner, then covered them with a unit of Lions and Swordmasters, then units of archers with more archers across the board to midtable. Broke the archers to his left but didn’t want to pursue off the table and then both units didn’t flee off the table and then rallied so I had to go after them again.
Crushed the two units of archers in front of the Lions and SMs but only killed a handful of SMs and didn’t hurt the Lions at all. Never made it to the Guards.
