Ron won. I had my shots at him. Took a psychology buster army that couldn't get past his BSB's rerolls.

Yep. Even with multiple -2 panic test rolls the BSB was a real savior. Ended up passing all panic and stubborn break tests. Needed them all too.

In Game 1 with my Psych army I managed to kill the Empire BSB with Caress of Laniph in turn 1. That was definitely a key enabler.

Sniping was a big concern so I took the 5+ ward and the mr2 banner for a 3+ ward against death and metal sniping spells.

Oh, another agonizing defeat for the Children of Chaos. Brett set up the two piles of supplies on his far right, one pile behind a house, so all of our troops ended up on one side of the table.
In round one a unit of beastmen ambushed to his rear and moved into contact with one of the piles. Turn one 1000 points to zip.
Brett dominated every phase of the game, out maneuvered me with harpies, out magiced me with his sorceresses, out shot me, and out fought me. But in turn three I charged the second pile with two characters and claimed the full 2000 points.
Nevertheless, I couldn’t hold out and by the end of the top of turn 6 he had tabled me.
Turning points: I summoned a giant in his rear; shaman took a wound from the miscast; giant takes one wound from 20 crossbow bolts; shaman fails his toughness test and dies; giant turns around and leaves the battlefield.
3 units including my bestigors flee the table from panic checks caused by damage from magic or shooting.
Turn 6 Brett finishes off my last two herds; one with magic, the other with black guard. The melee was close. He only had about 4 guard left but his BSB was still going strong.
Also took out my general in a final combat with his executioners in 6.
Great game. When down to the last turn. Brett had a big hill to climb after I earned 2000 in turn three but he never gave up and ended up whipping my goats around the barnyard.
That’s two losses for the Chaos side.

Somehow positive reinforcement seems inappropriate for the forces of darkness. Shouldn't you threaten us with some horrible and grisly fate unless we succeed? lol The chaos general mingling after the batte... General: "Hey, great job there, Death Fist. It was way cool when you like, stuck your hand right into that guys chest and pulled his heart out..." Death Fist: <looks at the ground sheepishly> "Thanks...um...Lothar the Desctructor. I have been practicing that move. I am glad you liked it..."

Has everyone who played reported in? Hill and Matt won for the Storm.
Brett and Ron for Against the Storm.
If so, what was the final score for each of you?
Brett beat me 2625 to 2000.
